The TSU-21PNEM8 is an 1-amp Digital DCC Sound Decoder with 8 function outputs. It is designed for easy plug-in operation when mated to a 21-pin NEM connector and can be wired to a CurrentKeeper to maintain performance over dirty track and switches

As can be expected, this is another of the great Soundtraxx decoders and installation is a simple matter of plugging it in any loco with the 21 pin header. The sounds and functions are great.

This was the easiest installation I had ever made. After removing the existing sound decoder, I just plug the TSU 21 pin NEM into the existing mother board. Turned the power on to my NCE DCC system and proceeded to program on the main. Set my long address, adjusted the momentum, lighting effects and some sound values. Then I set up my function keys the way I like them. The nice thing about programing on the main track you get to experience the changes made as soon as you have made them.
The support from TSU is the best I ever seen. Manuals are well written and the many Videos available are really worth watching.
I highly recommend the Tsunami2 line of decoders.
Also, Lombard Hobbys was grate to do business with.
