I normally do not write reviews, but in this case I am. The subject title says it the best. Even though I have not used it yet, I will say that the construction of the controller is by far the best I have seen. It has a very solid feel. As for the price, most places are pricing the unit in the $200 plus range. Good price for the value. Finally, it is good to see a product from a company that is in my back yard so to speak. This is a fantastic product. I chose this system because I am switching from using MTH’s DCS system in O scale to HO scale where everything is far more open source. This system seemed more familiar and user friendly than other options and seemed the most similar to DCS. There was a small learning curve with the remote and some differences simply to do with O scale vs. HO scale but overall I am very happy with it and was running trains in minutes. The manual in particular is very robust and has been hugely helpful in learning about NCE and HO DCC in general. Highly recommend this product. This was also my first purchase from Lombard hobbies whom I heard about through Josh (NSModeler24) on YouTube. Great experience and the fruit snacks were delicious. Will definitely do business in the future.

I definitely recommend this product. Everything works above my expectations, NCE did a fine job on this very affordable DCC system and has given me a good impression with my new journey into DCC. Lombard Hobbies did a very good job with packaging and shipping. The complimentary Lombard Hobbies bad and the fruit snacks were a nice touch as well. My package arrived 2 days ahead of the predicted time so I thank USPS for that as well. I am very impressed with the way this turned out and I will definitely buy from them again.
