Norfolk and Western Car #402 was an important part of the N&W's safety and accident prevention program. This Safety-First Car consistently traveled all over railroad educating thousands of employees every year on accident prevention.

Based on the dining cars used on all kinds of passenger trains from the 1910s into the early 1970s. Since many of these cars lasted into the 1960s on secondary trains and as peak-season fill-ins for streamlined cars, the Pullman Heavyweight Diner is a great addition to any steam or pre-Amtrak diesel-era passenger train.
