The Model TDH-3610 Transit Bus was built by General Motors Truck and Coach Division in 1947-1948.  The TDH-3610 was the 10th progressive version of the basic 'semi-monocoque' design developed in 1939.  The first of these buses, now commonly referred to as an 'Old Look' GM, were first manufactured in 1940.  The same basic body style being produced until 1959 when it was succeeded by the 'New Look' GM Transit bus.  Over a 20 year period, 35,101 'Old Look' GM buses were manufactured.  Most of these buses lasted 15 to 20 years or longer in service.
