The SoundTraxx CurrentKeeper is designed to add additional power capacity to any decoder installation. It can be used to overcome dirty track, limited electrical pickup or dead frogs to ensure reliable operation of any locomotive in your fleet. Easily connect your SoundTraxx decoder and CurrentKeeper by using 2-pin ‘Quick Plug’ Wire Harness 810158, sold separately, for plug and play.

Maintains power to the decoder for up to 10 seconds during electrical interruptions
Compatible with NMRA DCC Standards & Recommended Practices

CurrentKeeper is available in 2 sizes:

p/n 810160 measures 20.1 x 13.2 x 11mm

SoundTraxx Current Keeper II fits well in tight spaces

I've used the original Current Keeper but this is great because it takes up less space for models with tight quarters.

Having used the longer original CurrentKeeper which wea perfect for my previous project worked flawlessly. This new 810160 CurrentKeeper II will fit better into the new project I am working on. I anticipate the same grate results.
