This Green Mountain Railroad boxcar with Barber Roller Bearing trucks once belonged to the Marinette, Tomahawk & Western Railroad, an Incentive Per Diem carrier.

The Green Mountain is a Class III railroad that operates in Vermont, and was founded in 1964. Under the ownership of the Vermont Rail System since 1997, it operates both freight and passenger services.

This boxcar features:

  • Free-rolling Delrin trucks with contoured axles
  • Truck-mounted Magne-Matic couplers
  • Die cast metal underframes or interior weights
  • Thin-profile foot stirrups
  • Brake wheels
  • Fine decoration.
