Kato’s new series of their HO gauge UNITRACK line with Concrete Ties for a modern and realistic looking appearance of today’s railroading experience. UNITRACK HO Concrete Tie tracks are 100% compatible with existing HO gauge UNITRACK layouts using wooden tie track and easily intermix as needed.

The next stage in realistic model track is ‘Superelevation’. This is the process with track in which the outside rail is higher than the inner rail of a curve creating a banked appearance. These banked curves are specially designed to reduce wheel wear and increase comfort and safety in all types of trains but for modeling purposes simply help create a prototypical representation.
