Digitrax N DN163A4 DCC Mobile Decoder fits Atlas GP Units

As expected, this Digitrax decoder works fine, but is a bit fussy to install, but not the fault of the decoder itself. It can be quite frustrating to get the motor tabs up through the tiny slots and preferably soldered in place to the decoder contact tabs themselves.To make the insertion of the motor contacts easier, expect to take the entire frame apart, have the trucks fall out in the process along with the plastic opposite-side retaining nuts, and reorient the motor drive shaft blocks correctly. Take your time and everything should go OK. I usually spend about 45 minutes to get everything correct and the loco put back together.
