Bowser HO Scale ready-to-run MLW M630 diesels are based on the large Alco Century-series diesels built by Montreal Locomotive Works in the late 1960s into the early 1970s. Used in all kinds of freight service, M630 locomotives operated on several Canadian and Mexican railroads and in 2021 a handful have been preserved in museums and a few still operate in freight service.

Model features include:

• Accurate brass air horns, correct plow or pilot as appropriate, accurate brass antennas, working ditch lights as appropriate, Dofasco trucks with all-wheel electrical pick-up, correct rear end details, photo-etched walkway, accurate bell location, accurate fuel tank, brass MU hoses and air lines, photo-etched windshield wipers, accurate paint and lettering, accurate brakewheel style handbrake, zinc die cast underframe and modernized air intakes where appropriate.
• Handrails installed.
• DC version features 21 pin socket for DCC module
• DCC Version features ESU LokSound Select decoder
