Built by Pullman Standard starting in the late 1940s and into the 1950s, the PS-2 Covered Hoppers were used to transport granular bulk commodities, such as cement, soda ash, sand and grain.

BN scale test car
I like to buy prototypes of the real freight car and was happily surprised that the BN actually used these Pullman Standard cars and rebuilt them into scale test cars. They are well done and I believe they are gonna get a light weathering job as I believe these cars are kept clean by the railroad.
