Atlas N 2870 Middlesex Manufacturing Company Structure - Kit
Based on a well-known 1883-built landmark in New Jersey that continued operations until well into the 1990s. The four-story brick building features eight chimneys, a loading dock, elevator tower, boxcar loading doors, entry stairway, optional bricked-in window blanks and window vents.

Atlas N Middlesex Factory building
Surprised by the quality of the molding... it has nice detail. Hacks me off that the kit is incomplete... the box did not include the base as pictured in the instruction booklet. I'll have to make my own base as the walls are bowed-in slightly. Can't believe Atlas put out an incomplete kit. Eventually, with some extra effort on my part, it will become a nice addition to my layout.

Unfortunately the box artwork does not do this kit justice. Once the windows/doors are painted a contrasting colour and the brickwork is "mortared" it actually looks impressive. Relatively easy to assemble as long as you provide some additional styrene bracing to correct slight warps in the long walls and base.
