The Minibox was somewhat of a transition between the later version of the ARA 1923 and ARA 1932 design boxcar. Lasting in revenue freight service until 1983, these unique boxcars were mostly scrapped, however a few were sold to Pacific Great Eastern, and later used as BC Rail Maintenance of Way cars. The remaining cars that were not sold were used for various non-revenue maintenance tasks, like icicle breaking, tool cars, and storage until 1993.

Lombard Hobbies = Big Inventory ∙ Value Pricing ∙ Fast Shipping ∙ Great Service

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0685/8847/0425/files/20007908TQ__43802.1776860555.1280.1280__00401.1776860611.1280.1280.jpg?v=1784166961
https://lombardhobby.com/products/atlas-master-ho-20007908-40-minibox-boxcar-british-columbia-mow-bcol-993020
